wow, this Slipknot song ain't that bad

Very nice and catchy vocals - An overall cleaner sound than what you are used to hearing from Slipknot. While there still could be a lot more variety in the music, this song ain't bad.

Vendetta is ok.

My fav from the album is Gematria.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy it either - I never liked Slipknot as a whole, anyway - This song was just a lot different than their past works.

Well, I heard the entire album on YouTube, and while it has it's interesting moments, it's nothing special. Though "Gematria" contains what has got to be the finest instrumental work Slipknot has ever done, touching the neo-thrash regions and the groove of bands like Machine Head and Fear Factory.

The Slipknot brutality and attitude is certainly there, and there are some choice guitar riffs and ok solo's, but overall nothing special.

If corey sang like that all the time i would really like Slipknot, I really like Stone Sour and thats why this is my favorite song on the cd.

I've never been a fan, but i really like their new CD. Gematria, Psychosocial, Dead Memories and Vendetta are all really fine tracks.

i think everything since their self titled albums been mediocre at best, i really liked the self titled one almost every song but since then theyre way too hit and miss, kind of a shame cause the songs that do come together sound great, heavy with decent tempo changes and all that, new stuff is just kind of boring... and lacks energy...blablablablabla

This sounds more like Corey's other band Stone Sour than Slipknot, and I am convinced that this is direction the band will continue to explore on future releases.

That makes it more tolerable and i think it will be a little more mainstream and add a lot more fans.

Meh, not impressed. Sounds pretty much like every other song I've heard from them (with only a few exceptions). Only big difference is the pretty average guitar solos thrown in now.

I used to kinda like them. The more I listened to them, though, the more bored I became with them. Eventually got rid of the CDs I had from them, as they just sat around collecting dust.

Slipknot is not as bad as some Metalheads would have you believe...good musicians, aggressive riffing and some cool hooks here and there...

The new album has a few good songs on it.I dont think they're that bad of a band,its just the music gets a little boring after a while.They are talented enough musicians.
