The bands that you need to see

What are the bands that you dream on seeing?

I've seen hundreds of bands and many are my all time favorites. However, I've always wanted to see Ace Frehley (or Frehley's Comet) live.

Been friends with Glenn for years. Flew out to Arizona to see them play, but the show was cancelled. STILL haven't seen them live!

I'd like to see Running Wild before Rolf stops or dies, the full deal with the pyro and all. 2 hour set.

Cynic..might get a chance if they tour here along with Europe..and I want Sean Malone to be on bass/stick.

I would like to experience a live The Chasm. I didn't even know they were in my city last time they came here, argh.

Royal Hunt would be cool to see.

I would be the first person to buy a ticket if Pagan's Mind came within a couple hundred miles.

I would pay a substantial amount to see Labyrinth.

I would like to see the craziness of Magma live.


Basically a bunch of stuff that will probably never, ever happen.

Vengeance Rising--impossible, but I can still dream right?

Ultimatum, Ween, Mortification, Hammerfall, Megadeth, At War, Freedom Call, Bolt Thrower, Blind Guardian, Burning Spear, Culture, Primus, and countless others!

i have yet to see Doro or King Diamond

Jon Oliva's Pain
Circle II Circle
Alice Cooper
Nightwish
Iced Earth

Those are the priority bands but there are countless others I wouldn't mind seeing. Some of these and more:

Ultimatum, Overkill, Black Tide, The Showdown, Primal Fear, Jorn, Rob Rock, .38 Special, Saviour Machine (won't happen though ), Edguy, Opeth, Megadeth, Grave Digger, Running Wild, Weird Al Yankovic etc.

Jon Oliva's Pain, saxon and Maiden.

Probably won't see the later without spending thousands to do it.

Realistically I think I'd like to see a bunch of the Neo-hard rock bands that are touring now. Stone Rider with Airbourne, that sort of thing. There's a whole bunch of them now; and while I'm getting a little burnt out with the discs, I think I'd really enjoy most of them live.

There are lots of bands that I'd like to see, but the two biggies for me are Helloween and Dio. Two of my all time faves but I've never seen either one live.

Deliverance and My Silent Wake for me. I never will see them, but it's always been a dream of mine to actually meet Jimmy and Ian in real life.

I'd like to see Iced Earth and Nevermore someday, although I'm starting to loose interest in Iced Earth, even with Matt back in the band.

I'm getting my Motorhead tickets this weekend. Lemmy rules!!

So if a band comes to the Comcast Center (or where ever the hell it is that you work), can you sit at your desk and watch them?

I would love to see Saxon, I have seen most bands I have wanted to see, my wish would be that I would be able to build a time machine and than I would go see The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC with Bon Scott, Queen, and countless others, thank God for DVD's

I've seen pretty much all the bands I love. But like someone else said, I can keep on dreaming. Here's a few I'd love to catch live

Stryper - They've played in Sweden, but nothing close to me in Norway

Ultimatum - Do you hear me, Nordic Fest??!!!!!!

Twisted Sister - Played in Norway for the first time in 20 years plus only 2 weeks ago. I couldn't go

Queensrÿche - Would have loved to seen them when they classic line-up were still together.

Oh, there are a bunch of other Christian metal acts that would be fun to catch.

Yup, pretty much. Our master control room is on the balcony level of the building, so if there is a decent act performing, I can go sit on the balcony and watch for free. It's generally frowned upon by management, but since I work in the AV department, I can usually justify being there without any hassles from "The Man".

Motorhead isn't coming to our building, he's playing at a smaller venue in Philly, but I'd gladly pay for a ticket to see them.

Personally I wanna see Mayhem, Metallica, Venom, Motorhead, Primus, Megadeth, Priest etc..

I had the best seats in the house to see Eddy Grant last week and he cancelled the tour. I have waited 25 years to see him. What a GIGANTIC drag!!!

Would also love to see Di'Anno. He can't get into the US anymore, but he plays Canada alot. I almost went up to Thunder Bay by myself last year, but said "screw it" at the last second. Next time around I am going no matter what.

Yup - but that is BY FAR Eddy's worst song ever!! For those with an open mind, you can pick up "Barefoot Soldier" for pennies, most any where. He touches on about 8 different styles of music on that one. Great place to start, if you want to check out an under-appreciated genius.
