Just what it says... What have you bought lately?
In the past week:
-Superman Returns (Best Buy exclusive 2-disc featuring a cool mini-book guide to Superman) -Planet Terror (Unrated & Extended, heard it was the better movie from Grindhouse, so I took the chance and I liked it alot) -Casino Royale (saw it theaters and loved it, but I never got around to buying it)
$6.99 each at Best Buy!

I've yet to see a single MoH episode. I've come so close to it, but I've never laid my money down for a DVD despite some of the awesome directors they've lined up.

I avoided MOH Season 1 for a long time because I saw a lot of negative reviews.
Now that I've seen them all, I'd say "Pfffft" to those slagging the series.
Like any anthology series, some episodes are better than others. Personally, out of season 1, I only found one episode near unwatchable.
If you want to see a great episode from season 1, rent Dario Argento's entry "Jenifer". That movie rocks!
I'm looking forward to the Season 2 episode called "Pelts" which stars Meatloaf. I've read that it's really good.

can't go wrong with a good vigilante movie. Jodie is a lot scarier that Michael Douglas was though. it's the better of the two movies. both great though.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 Volume 12
Fairly pricey for 4 DVDs but worth every penny to me (unless Sci-Fi starts re-runs of it again, this is the only way I can get my MST3K fix).

They cost way too much for me. I have Vol 3-8 and I want them all, but I can't justify spending the money on it.

It used to be $19.99 around here. Now it's $59.99, of course. Man, I should have bought that for myself. Bought it for my girlfriend, then we broke up. =(

Niether can I. This is the first one I've gotten in over a year (a good chunk of my credit card debt came from music and DVD purchases) and the only reason why is because I won a $300 lotto scratch off. If I had had Netflix still, I could get some from them but all non-essential purchases cannot be made with my debit card and I ain't about to get another credit card (I can honestly say I've learned my lesson with those).

Why is it $59.99? Is it out of print already?
