D'oh! Feel my pain!

Well, I was surfing the net this afternoon after work and got bored. So, of course, my mind (and address bar) went to some... adult-themed sites. Well, I was also really tired and laid down on the bed for "just a minute" after petting our cat, but ended up sleeping for about about an hour or so and woke up to the sound of my fiancee pounding on the door for me to let her into the apartment. So, in a daze, I got up, let her in and went back to the bedroom for my nap.

A minute or so later...

Fiancee (yelling from the living room): "WHAT AM I LOOKING AT ?!"
Me (from the bedroom): "Huh?"
Fiancee: "Why are there busty women on the computer ?!"
Me (groggy and stupid enough to think this would satisfy her quest for information and close the case): "I don't know!"
Fiancee: "Yeah right, you were looking at porn!"
Me: "... " & at myself for falling asleep and forgetting to close the browser


Honestly, it was a video of some sort, but I have no recollection of what it was she would've seen and that's the scary part. Then I got "the talk" about how she doesn't like me looking at it and then I had to "make it up" by buying her dinner. Sheesh. I could slap myself for being so careless! SIX YEARS of porn sneaking and now I've ruined my reputation.

I told her, "It could be worse, it could've been a bunch of guys on the screen or an actual girl in the apartment". That didn't go over so well either.

People seem to walk by my door at work everytime you guys post questionable pictures. The birthday hat girl, or the He Man thing, for example.

Eh, she's over it. Hasn't been mentioned since. Just an embarrassing moment where I was kicking myself for being so careless! I figured the rest of you guys would get a kick out of it and possibly had similar situations.

Oh, I have definately been there, bro. I was single for a long time before I met my last girlfriend. So, I would occasionally mess around on the net. I never brought it up, but my best friends ex wife brought it up to her one day (for no reason other than to be smurfhole) and my girl came storming into my house at 11 pm on a Sunday night and wanted to search my computer. She did, and found nothing. But we had to talk about it anyway! Can't believe I put up with her for almost 3 years. Ah, well. Live and learn. Peace.
