How great a band name is Megadeth?

I believe this to be the best name for a band in all of metal. You know what they re as soon as you hear that name. You don't even to be a metal fan.

Where do you rate this name on a scale of 1 - 10? 10 being you love it, 1 being you hate it.

I'd give it a 9. It's definitely a good name for a Metal band.

Wouldn't be the biggest fan of the band but I gave it a 10, for using DETH and not DEATH.

Not very in my opinion. But yeah ultra original using deth and not death.

Did you know that before Pink Floyd decided on thier name, they considered Megadeath?? (spelled correctly) Now you know. And knowing is half of the battle....

Love the band, think the name is a bit stupid though. 5 / 6 from me.

I love the name. For the time, it was great. We'd probably all consider it a bit cheesy if a band came out with that name in 2008, but for like 1983, or whatever, that was a great name. I dig it!

Cool band name. Too bad the band doesn't match it any longer. They kinda have made a mockery of themselves since about 1997.

Yeah the name is certainly awesome. But I think spectrefate is mistaken. Because the deth's new album is frieken awesome.
