| If you really want to challenge yourself technically, try working on some songs by John McLaughlin, Paco De Lucia, Stanley Jordan, Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, etc. |

I began to really incorporate jazz in my playing about a year ago, I pride myself in learning as much as I can on the axe. But sometimes you get lost in what you really love and just go back to it. | |

| Completely understand. I usually have to force myself to play in styles I'm not comfortable with, but it's worth the effort because inevitably you pick up ideas here and there that you can incorporate into your own style. |

Absolutely I just wrote a song on guitar with some really hard jazz type chords that I wouldve never thought I could play cleanly. It sounds awesome. Like you said it def is worth it.. | |
