i like some of those bands and Iron Maiden. in fact i have twenty iron maiden cds

and i cant wait to buy the cd as fortunatley i am able to buy kerrang from any reputable newsagaent as i live in England

i got this yesterday and i must say for the most part it is quite dire. their is a acoustic lounge version of run to the hills. the dt, metallica, trivium and machine covers are good but the rest are a let down

Yeah, but for the price, you can't expect gold. I downloaded the Metallica tribute when it came out and it was the same. I saved about four tracks and deleted the rest. Covers albums lack passion a lot of times; just see Dwell Records's catalog for proof of that.

it was only £2.20 so it was not breaking the bank or anything

but madina lake butchering caught somewhere in time is unforgivable

Black Tide's version of "Prowler" on this disc is pretty decent.

I looked for it at the local Barnes & Noble over the weekend, but I couldn't find it. Either they were sold out or it wasn't stocked at all. Although I thought I've seen issues in there before.

I heard that Run to the Hills cover, by far the worst Maiden cover EVER.

It's not even musically structured like the original.
