| Oooooo...that "screw the pooch" one always makes me wince. I don't even want to know the derivation of that one. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| And to further my apparent obsession with the F bomb ones: "Take a flying F at a rolling donut" Nothing like sex with target practice. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Creative, at least. "Like a boar with tits" That's one I hear in West Texas that was previously unknown to me. Also, this kind of phrasing (examples) " I like to have never......" and " I kindly figured that was the answer" I've grown to appreciate my W. Texas brethren, but these kind of phrases still irk me.

I've grown to appreciate my W. Texas brethren, but these kind of phrases still irk me. "I like to have never" is big in middle Tennessee too. Used to hear that all the time. As well as this one when it was getting ready to storm: "It's gonna come up a cloud!" _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Wow, so glad they don't say that here. It would be colloquialism overload! | |

| Then there are my Connecticut colloquilisms: "Ewwww! That shkeeves me." "What a stoonod!" and of course... "fuhgedabotit!" And don't even get me started on the Pennsylvania Dutch-isms I grew up with. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

"Horatio." In fact, in an attempt to avoid taking the Lord's name in vain around my kids, I have been known to say "Hay-zoose Horatio Chris-toose!" in times of exasperation. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I personally use that one alot. My bro and I use that one a lot too, except we replace "Cheerios" with "Corn Flakes." If we're about to deliver some bad news we'll start by saying "I hate to piss on your corn flakes, but..." _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
