| Ever wonder where certain turns of phrase come from?
I oft wonder when is the butt crack of dawn? My watch goes by numbers.
Where exactly is Bumfuck, Egypt? I can't find it anywhere on a map.
How does something you don't know suddenly beat the hell out of you?
Are you as perplexed as me, and do you know any others? |

| The basic F.U. has always puzzled me. Is that an invitation? Or is it a question about the person's activities?
And adding the "and the horse you rode in on" really makes it confusing. And why bother insulting the horse? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| The one that's always bugged me is when someone says "it's cold as hell out there." ...I was under the impression that Hell never got cold??? _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I couldn't care less. Ah, that's better. That one's always bugged me too. Back to the F bomb. How does a sentence like "Stay the F off my property!" make any F'n sense at all???? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
