Well, if Entombed counts (and they do, cause MC sez), then they are my faves, by far.

Yep, RIP Chuck Shuldiner, man what a musician.

I'm yet to get into Death Metal. I just can't get into it because of the vocals and the lack of melody compared to other genres I listen to. Like my grandparents would say about rock, it sounds like just noise to me. Although, I do like it when I've been drinking.

Wolverine Blues is a record a play every now and then and is by default the only Entombed and Death Metal album i like.

Something to do with Rock N' Roll i guess with that one.

Back in the early 90s, if it was death metal, I would listen to it. Nowdays it gets boring and repetitive but I still listen from time to time. Like all the other death metal topics found here, I must plug these guys again: Daath which is IMO some of the best death metal I've heard since the early 90s.

Paths of Possession is another killer death metal band i love who bases the music more on thrash then the wicked speed known in most death metal bands. Also fronted by George " Corspegrinder" Fisher...

Not much of a death metal fan, admittedly. I can't stand the majority of the vocals (screaming, "Cookie Monster"). The music I can live with, the vocals usually break it for me.

The only death metal band I like is Children Of Bodom. The vocals were an acquired taste.
