His name is Derek Jones, I believe. He was one of Pantera's roadies at the time.

I read about it once. It was a former roadie for Pantera. They paid him either $300 or $500 (can't remember which) to let some guy whoop his ass and have photos taken of it. They liked that one the best and made it the cover.

Pantera were famous for making their roadies do stupid crap for their amusement. It gave the band something to do for the 20 hours a day that they werent' on stage or soundchecking or whatever. They'd offer the crew $100 to swallow whole bottles of ketchup or salad dressing in one gulp, stuff like that. Kinda like their own version of "Fear Factor" I guess.

The three Pantera home videos are hands down the funniest videos any band has ever released. Literally piss-your-pants funny videos. Haha.
