| Anymore word on Aerosmith or Ace Frehley's album? I didn't think new Aerosmith was a lock for '08, but I thought Ace was? I haven't seen anything around him lately. Also, what's the buzz on Queen + Paul Rodgers? Good? Bad? | |

| I don't think it's been mentioned, so: Keldian - Journey of Souls Don't go in looking for Motorhead - Overkill or anything, but if you would be interested in lighter, very spacey melodic/power metal, this band has to be one of the best bands I've ever heard, melodically speaking. They just hit gold constantly. It's sort of a mix between Europe and Luca Turilli, with lower range, baritone-ish vocals. The MySpace is: www.myspace.com/keldian 'Last Frontier', 'Lords of Polaris' (my favorite from the album), and 'Reaper' are all from the one that came out this year. Sidenote about 'Reaper': apparently the lyrics were inspired from the cover to the Twilight Zone single by Maiden. So you will hear a little Maiden influence too, mainly in how the lead guitar melodies are so dead on. Enjoy if this applies to you. | |

| Melodic Rock fans should check out Marcello - Vestry. This may be on the light side for some of you guys but for eighties rooster rock with awesome leads and vocals this is unbeatable. | |

| Yep, that new Royal Hunt definitely satisfies. It's not their best, as it seemed to be anticipated..which is a shame because it has so many seeds set up to be just that.... but it is definitely up there. See what you think about Keldian and maybe put 'em on the Melodic Metal group there. | |

Next time I can make it to Virgin, I will definatly look for them. Over the last couple of years I find myself more drawn to melodic metal and melodic hard rock more than anything else. | |
