| Do you like this genre? I personally LOVE IT! I am a huge fan of George Romero movies like "Zombi 1 and 2", "Day of the Dead", and "Night Of the Living Dead"! But I love also the John Carpenter original "Halloween", Lucio Fulci high gore movies like "City of the Living Dead" and "That House by the Cemetary", Dario Argento "Deep Red", and "Inferno"! I liked also the Peter Jackson (the same who direct "The Lord of The Rings") funny and craizy "Braindead", and "Bad Taste"! I love also the "Maniac Cop", and "Nightmare" saga's.... The "Fly" I liked very much too! Whats your favourite Horror Movies and saga's?? |

| Oh man, you just pushed my movie button!
Here's my list:
Brain Dead (i.e. Dead Alive) Bad Taste Audition The Thing (John Carpenter) From Beyond Reanimator Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original) Night of the Living Dead (original)
...and now we get to the other subtitled flicks (in addition to Audition):
Naked Blood Ebola Syndrome Red To Kill Dr. Lamb
But the ALLTIME goriest movie I have ever seen is... believe it or not...
PLANET TERROR!!!
This thing makes Brain Dead look like Sound Of Music. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I forgot "Shining" by Kubrick! A real Masterpiece! And you' re right "The Thing" (the remake) and "Chainsaw Massacre 1 and 2" are very cool! "Reanimator" must seen yet The most controversial movie I' ve ever seen is in my opinion "Cannibal Holocaust" by Ruggero Deodato! Very punishing man! Planet Terror? Really? I must check It! |

| I could go on forever in this thread. And it is so hard to pick favorites. Better to pick prefered directors.
Dario Argento George A. Romero Lucio Fulci Peter Jackson John Carpenter Wes Craven Tobe Hooper Stuart Gordon
I also love stuff from make-up artists Tom Savini and that dude doing the Alien stuff. _________________ | |

| I'm a pretty big horror fan, but my tastes are kinda eclectic. My favorite gore film is probably Ichi the Killer. DAMN that movie is violent. | |

| You must really love Dog Soldiers Shiney; you listed it twice.
Great low budget flick BTW. Did you happen to catch Lucky McGee's followup to it called "Boo"? Good flick there too. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I got it mixed up.
Lucky McGee did "May" and "Boo" (both of which I liked)
Neil Marshall did "Dog Soldiers" and the next one was "The Descent" (which I absolutely love) _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Like both of those too.
BTW, any Hennenlotter flick is great. Basket Case, Brain Damage, Frankenhooker...
Any Stuart Gordon flick rules too. Society, From Beyond, Reanimator, Dagon, King Of The Ants... _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I liked it. Good point! For me, the guy hasn't missed yet. I see his name in the credits, I buy it. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
