OVERKILL U.S. Tour Dates...

The show last night was pretty good, 'specially O'Kill

a few sound problems with the earlier bands here and there
and quite a few of the young pups were getting stupid, which was expected

Wasn't too impressed with Warbringer or Toxic Holocaust, seemed like each set was just one long song. Very agressive, yes ! Monotonous, even more so.

Although I would like to catch them onstage again

They use the "RoboCop" theme as an intro tape now?? That's funny as hell. That's a pretty killer set list too.

Last time I saw them was in '94 and back then they were using a snippet of Al Pacino from "Carlito's Way" ("You think you big time? You gonna f**kin DIE big time! You ready? Here come de PAIN!") as their intro.

Go see'um Scotty!! Overkill are the kinda band that is meant to be experienced live at least once!!!

i want to go to kentucky..but none on the songs on the setlist really grab me, except maybe the 3 new songs & necroshine. liked the last couple tours setlists a lot better.
still, as was stated above, good to see them at least once/go to dallas.

If you ask me,that's an awesome setlist. Covers their career nicely.

I got no complaints about that set list either. Hell, they're even dusting off their cover of "Sonic Reducer!"

Lately Overkill has been missing my city and playing in a city far smaller up north of me. It's about a 3 hour drive though. Sucks.

Yea, same here. Darn shame too. I love all of those bands in the line-up. My bad for missing Overkill the first time around.

One of my Facebook friends was at the Overkill show in NYC on Saturday night. She sez it was a great gig but the story goin' on outside was even more interesting. Seems the "car bomb" that was discovered in Times Square that night (only a few hours before show time) was right around the block from the venue Overkill was playing (Nokia Theatre). Once the police clamped down on the entire area for security reasons, quite a few people who were on the way to the show weren't allowed to get through to the theatre due to streets being closed. Bummer for them huh? Fortunately for my friend, she got there early enough that she was already inside the club by the time the poop hit the fan. Unsurprisingly, she sez that the traffic after the show while trying to get home was a nightmarish experience as well.

Nice ! 11/18 at Diesel. Great openers for them.

Got an email today that said Nov 12 was canceled. (Hooligans - Jacksonville, NC)
