| Ok, I've heard his name mentioned a LOT. And just recently in the Rob Rock thread. I'm ready to check this guy out now. Can anyone give a rundown on what to look for? I know nothing about this guy. | |

| Silent Force "Walk The Earth" would be a good place to start. I also really like his work with Royal Hunt but I remember how you feel about keyboards. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Yeah, if they Keys are in the background or are of the "atmospheric" type, then I'm cool with them. But when they take the lead over and over and drown out everything else going on.....then I don't like that. I had a "silent force" walk the earth last night. | |

| His stuff with Silent Force is his best but all of it is good. - Quote :

As long as there was no firewind. |

| +1 for Silent Force. They're all good, either of the last two are down-right incredible. | |

You sure want to stay away from Royal Hunt & Andre Anderson then. But Silent Force should work for you,, and the D.C. Cooper solo album from the late 90's (featuring Pink Cream 69) is good if a little cheesy.

| I like the S/T, too. It like a good Dokken album, with a vocalist that can sing. |

I'd like to point out you just said something good about cheese.

| The first track on the s/t is a fantastic song, just that the rest pale in comparison. Perhaps I should give it another listen while skipping the first track. |

| The first and last cuts on Walk The Earth are kinda weak IMO but everything in between is killer. The title cut was one of my favorite songs of 2007. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
