| Does anyone have this album? It's amazing, the arrangments, the vocal harmonies, production... It's one of those quintisenntial albums. This album is a big guilty pleasure of mine. Anyone else?! |

| That is the album that got the Beatles to change styles. I would say there would be a small impact on the worlds musical history.... |

| Amazing album. One of those that has to, no, DEMANDS to be listened to through big, comfy headphones. So many layers. When you hear every instrument, vocal, and sound and realize that it was all done with real live musicians in a time before studio trickery, it's simply amazing. No wonder it drove Brian Wilson bat-sh*t crazy. | |

| I am a big fan of listening to old lps on headphones. I have an old JVC component system with tube receiver that my older brother gave me in 76'. He got it in Japan when he was shipped out of Nam. I still have a box with plenty of replacement tubes. I laugh when I hear folks try to say cd's sound better than vinyl. You havn't lived till you hear it the "proper" way. A cd is like a fax machine and a record is like "mouth to ear" No comparison. | |

| I dig the Beach Boys alot, cheezy surf songs and all. I have a lame MONO version of Pet Sounds and have yet to hear it in full stereo, although the three big hits from that album are on most of their greatest hits albums and are remastered and stereo and crystal clear. Brian Wilson was a genius. | |

| First time I heard Pet Sounds I really disliked it. I mean couldn't understand all the hype it gets. Granted some of that was only ever hearing the Beach Boys surfing stuff my mom liked.
Years later I gave it another spin. Then another. I finally got it. What an amazing album. | |
