| Well I've heard the new Firewind cd The Premonition and whoa your gonna love it. Great vocals, good song writing and Gus G has never been better. I know there are a few here that like power metal!
I've heard it like 5 times now!

| My primary complaint about this band is their ever changing lead vocalist. I love Gus G but please let him work with the same singer for awhile.

| Firewind did not do much for me until they got apollo. the other albums lacked the vocal punch he gives them...

| None of them touch Fredrick. He was the best singer. Their best album, IMO, remains Between Heaven and Hell. | |

| This album is a great slab of melodic metal (bordering on power in some places) and will definatly be a regular in my player. I got a big kick out of the cover of Maniac. | |

Purely by chance, I got it at Best Buy. I wasn't looking for it and it wasn't in it's spot (even more strange is that I usually have to go to Virgin to get something like this-Best Buy has gone downhill over the years) but there it was. It took a millisecond for me to decide to get it-I think it was fate. | |

| I like this CD a lot more than I expected. This also contains the best Firewind song I've ever heard, "Mercenary Man". That track has a vibe similar to Gary Moore's "Over the Hills and Far Away".
This disc is much more melodic that their others IMO. I agree that it borders on power metal at times.

| Chitty is always impressive. I have his Avalon disc which I like quite a bit. I also have Civilization One which I don't care for although it's not because of the vox.
