They were way better than the American Slaughter. Very cool band.

- Some of you may know...I've been working backwards and trying to get some of the albums I missed in the 80's and 90's when secular music was "Say-tonic" (my Dad's pronunciation) and I picked up Slaughter - Fear No Evil on the cheap thanks to Stormspell.
It came out in 1995 so I wasn't sure what to expect being that's in the middle of that period. Well, imagine my surprise when I pop this in and hear some nice flat out rockin 80's/early 90's style dirty, gritty Hair-ish (even Sleazy) metal!! The vibe, attitude and sound of this album is perfect. The more I listen to it the more I love it. It's not smooth like Tyketto, American Angel, or the more well known "hair" bands of the time and it's not real dirty either but it's a surprisingly catchy album. Heavy and catchy! Melodic and dirty. Sweet! Been lookin to grab this one for a while now. Thanks for the info, guys. Peace.
