| Does anyone have this CD or re-recorded Loudness classics? Curious what everyone thinks. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I like it. It gives the songs a modern touch and shows that they are timeless. But it's not something I could listen to everyday. |

I wish they wouldn't have downtuned the songs though. I think they would have sounded better in straight E or E flat tuning. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I had it for awhile, but traded it off (in fact, I think SpectreFate got my copy!)... it was OK but the production was terrible, very muddy sounding. It was an interesting primer on some of Loudness' earlier works, which I was mostly unfamiliar with, but not enough to make it a "keeper." I believe it was originally intended as a bonus disc with their RACING album from a few years ago... why they decided to release ROCKSHOCKS in the US as a stand alone disc instead of just releasing RACING, I dunno. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Because no one in "the biz" has a flipping clue. America is gay. |

America is gay. Too true, too true. Did I trade this CD to you Spec? I know I traded it with someone on this board but I can't remember who it was now. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I have not heard it yet, but I was wondering about the Japanese-era songs that were re-recorded. Were they lyrically translated to English or are they still in Japanese? | |

Still in Japanese, but like the original versions, there are still occasional bits of "Engrish" sung in the choruses and so forth. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
