Loudness - Eve to Dawn
anyone pick this up yet? I've read reviews that the album is their best in a long time and is very 'emotional', due to the death of their drummer and the earthquakes and tsunami that devastated their country.

There are some opinions in this thread.
I have ordered it from Amazon, but haven`t got it yet.

I thought it was very good! It's on par or better with the last 3 or 4 they released.

On 8/22, they just released another new record - 2.0.1.2 - in Japan....

2.0.1.2 is their 27th (!) full length studio album.

Loudness has released more studio albums than any other metal band in history.

Too bad their CDs are so friggin' expensive to acquire; at least over here in the States. Don't know how it is in Europe.

I like some of their newer stuff, but it's not as good as the old stuff, IMO. I liked Metal Mad, alright, but there was some filler on it. The instrumental intro track and the title track were both excellent, but the rest of the album was hit or miss, for me.

I picked it up at Best Buy for 9.99 and love it! Very powerful very emotional! Best album they have put out in years! You'll love it Scott!

Only cd i have of thirs is Thunder In The East.

I haven't picked it up yet. Hopefully I can get it pretty soon.

I used to be huge on these guys! Lost track after "Soldier of Fortune"...


Who's the singer now? They lost the touch when they hired Mike Vescera...

Original Singer Minoru Niihara came back around 2001 or so. Original Drummer Munetaka Higuchi passed away in 2008 from cancer.

I have heard this...its pretty good. I revisited thunder in The east today...Still my favorite after all these years.

I was told the first few songs are pretty good and that it's a great comeback album. Apparently they do more double kicks and smurf poo, so if you're a Loudness fan it's worth the time to check it out. I know I am, and I am definitely going to try hearing up some 2012 album, see if that's any good.

Awesome album. Was playing it earlier today in the car.

Eve To Dawn is great. But I'm also a huge fan and haven't been disappointed by anything they have released.

Never picked up a copy.
