Anybody else have a garden every year. My wife and I had our first one and a big one at that. Even with not knowing what the heck we were doing, we did awesome in tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, peppers, potatoes.....and more.

But, a gal I work with said her teenage son did a science project in high school, where he studied the effect that not only music, but also specific genres had on a plants growth. Well apparently the plant that listened to heavy metal out performed all the others (rap, pop, classical...etc....)!!!! She knew I'd get a kick out of that because she laughs at my music whenever she visits the office! 🤘 🤘 🤘

TIME TO BUY A LONG EXTENSION CORD THIS SPRING!

Mythbusters did a similar experiment. Turns out that any talking or music is helpful to the growth of the plant.

I did a little gardening back in the day and while I think it was more of an effect of the hydroponic grow-lights in my closet, my plants flourished while heavy metal blared from the speakers. Coincidence?

Just asparagus. I eat it because it keeps my cats from drinking out of the toilet.

My family's grown zuchinis grean beans, chile peppers, and a whole bunch of different flowers. As my own personal collection of potted plants I own a Bonsai, a Chia Pet, and a cactus.

As for the music thing, I've heard that termites work fastest when listening to Heavy Metal!

I dont know about music helping the plants, but I do know if you pee on the same Azalea bush for a few months it will die.

really thats cool

we have a half acre garden which is big for England but it would be an awesome excuse to sit in the sun with a beer and listen to metal loudly to annoy the chav two doors down who plays dance music extra loud
