| I am half Icelandic (and part German as well - do NOT ask for an explanation!  ) and REALLY into Folk Metal. It is a very underground genre. There is this awesome band hailing from the tiny Faroe Islands (where I happen to have relatives too...hehe), called TYR. They are an awesome band, with all their songs rooted in old Icelandic/Faroe Saga Stories. Some songs are in English, some in Icelandic/Faroe (sometimes both languages in the same song!). | No, that's becasue so far they are only downloads. I actualy got them from a friend from Iceland. But I also work with 2 men that are from the Faroe Island, and 1 of them is a huge fan of the band. He's seen them live several times.
Oh, and I probably own close to 1000 albums still not on my site.... _________________ | |
