| I have "Emmett Otter" on DVD... haven't had time to watch it thus far this season yet, however!! My other faves: "The Year Without A Santa Claus" (love that Heat Miser!) "A Charlie Brown Christmas" (of course) "Twas the Night Before Christmas" (the one narrated by Joel Grey, with the family of mice and the big clock... it was my fave as a kid) "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" Now I'm gonna have "Riverbottom Nightmare Band" running thru my head all night. Some metal band should cover that song! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Not many people remember this, but this is also a favorite of mine from when I was a kid. "Sometimes a miracle needs a hand." | |

I vote for Fireball Ministry! Here it is! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4H8cW7sVuo And here's the lyrics so you can sing along! We take what we want We do anything that we wish We got no respect For animal, birdie, or fish The grass does not grow On the places where we stop and stand... WHO? River Bottom Nightmare Band! We know we’re a mess But we do not like to be clean We don’t brush our teeth ‘Cause our toothaches can help us stay mean (ROARRRR) We don’t wish to learn But we hate what we don’t understand (WHO?) River Bottom Nightmare Band! When you see us comin’ You better startin’ runnin’ We’re always startin’ trouble And we’re happiest when things are outta hand Rivers are for boilin’ Parties are for spoilin’ We either like to sit and pout Or else go out and terrorize our land River Bottom Nightmare Band!!! We laugh in your face Or we practice our growl and our sneer We break up your place We are dangerous when we are near And when we are done with our song Who will get the biggest hand? Who? River Bottom Nightmare Band! River Bottom Nightmare Band! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Not being a fan of Christmas, I have never seen any of the specials except as a wee lad and I can't remember them. However, for a movie that places one in the Christmas mood, you can't beat Little Women (with Winona Ryder), I have mentioned it before. Also, I would like to see The Nativity Story that came out last year. |

The Blackadder Christmas Carol is awesome, then again that show is just awesome all around. I'll find it to watch online if anyone wants to see it. |

I caught about the last forty minutes or so of "The Nativity Story" on cable about two weeks ago. It was quite good. I'd like to catch it in its entirety sometime. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| This topic reminds me of the Family Guy Christmas episode, with 'KISS save Santa'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9b6cIahr40 pure genius.

| Yeah, I thought The Nativity Story was done very well. Perhaps the best "Christ"mas movie they've made. |
