I felt this way about the latest WASP album, DOMINATOR. I don't have the CD handy right now but I think it clocks in at just over a half an hour (one track of which is merely a "reprise" of an earlier song). I thought that was kind of a ripoff.

A colleague of me said the same about that album. I don’t feel that way, because the songs on it are all good. I don’t mind if it is short or long – it must be good with no (or not much fillers). What really annoys me are hidden tracks this is silly.

Oh yea, don't get me wrong, I like the songs on WASP's new one, but it just seems too dang short. It's more like an EP than a legit album.

I like shorter albums, so long as it's strong throughout. 40 minutes is a good length for an album I feel - I sometimes start to drift towards the end of an hour or longer album.

I think an album under 30 minutes is just going to far (or should I say to short).Like municipal wastes first album : waste em all,its a good album but a total time of 17 minutes is crazy No

Sometimes i like records to be short like Reign in Blood because it's meant to be urgent. Martyrs Shrine should have shortened their album imo.

Being a big 80's Hardcore/Punk fan 20 minute albums with 30 songs were the norm. Doesn't bother me.

40-50 Minutes. No less than 8 no more than 12 songs.

Exceptions made for the exceptional.

Depends on the album - sometimes short is good, sometime short feels like a ripoff

It's really not the size that matters, it's what the band does with it, I always say.

It's quality, not quantity. There are so many short classics.

Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying
KISS - KISS
Slayer - Reign In Blood
Van Halen - s/t
Aerosmith - Rocks
Black Sabbath - Master Of Reality
Judas Priest - British Steel
Iron Maiden - s/t
