Favourite Thrash Style?

What is your personal, favourite Thrash-Style? Do you prefer the NWOBHM-Infused early Bay-Area Sound (Kill 'em All), the frantic, furious aggressive European style, the more melodic/groovy tunes from the NYC Area (fx. Anthrax) ... Give me your thoughts!

Looking at my collection, I guess I'd say I lean towards Bay-Area thrash, but it's all good.

I have no preference between the two. I enjoy just about every style of thrash there is, from the German sound to the Bay Area sound, from melodic thrash to death/thrash, etc etc

Bay Area, but I also like the groovy stuff. Actually, probably the groovy Bay Area stuff.

Besides the big four and a few here and there, i'm not too into thrash.

European Thrash and Death Thrash are my 2 favorites and they are at an equal status!

I like it all however, I lean more towards bands with clean vocals (Anthrax, old Testament, Flotsam & Jetsam, old Metallica, Megadeth, etc.)

I favor German intense thrash. My two favorite thrash bands are Sodom and Kreator.

However, like others have said ... when it comes to thrash ... I LIKE IT ALLLLLLLL

Here's my ranking:

1. German Thrash
2. Bay Area
3. Crossover (80s hardcore mixed with thrash)
4. Other various thrash of any sort!!!

I like just about all thrash, but my favorite is probably brutal thrash metal.

Not a big thrash fan, but when its melodic, its incredible. Two albums that would exemplify what I mean would be Testament's Practice and Metallica's Ride the Lightning. I wish more thrash were melodic. The bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-bang style drumming under a guy screaming and a guitar riff does nothing for me.
