| Old School to me means music from the 70's and 80's, but we're in the year 2007, thats 3 years till 2010, a new decade. When is the right time to look at music from the 90's as old school or what should one call it? | |

| I heard Enter Sandman on the classic rock station. It is always the standard on there, CCR, ZZ Top, Lynard. I was shocked. As far as radio since I have been alive 10 years back has always been considered classic rock, since I have been listening to classic rock radio in the 70s. I think music from the 90s will always be called 90s music, just like when you think of the 80s, it is 80s music |

| to me "old school" is meaning to refer to the original presentation of a style that has since morphed or transformed into something slightly different, albeit retaining the original influence. for example, to me, Kreator's Extreme Aggression is old school, whereas The Crown's Hell Is Here is not, although it is a representation of that style with modern touches. _________________ | |

| Old school in terms could mean alot to many! To me old school in metal terms or bands means Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Motorhead.................... So you see it could mean something different to others! I'm old school I'm 48! Wargod48 NP: Chris Caffery - Pins & Needles | |

| Being from, or sounding like you came from, the 60s, 70s, or 80s. That's my hard rock & metal definition of "old school". | |

| to mne, old school or classic means 20 years removed. but that doesnt necessarily mean its any good. I guess it has to be good and old, too. as far as good, well, I guess thats a different topic altogether. | |
