I got a message on MySpace, and it's from that kind of "girl" that's usually promoting her webcam site or some porn page. However, this one was a bit different. Same M.O.; subject said "HI THERE!", the account showed pictures of a cute girl in a series of de-clothing. But the e-mail said:
- Quote :
- hi, if you like music that rocks, please go and visit my friends band and add him if you like the music
And included was a few links to this
dude's page. I assumed it was still going to lead to a page promoting something unsavory (or savory, depending on how you look at it). But it was legit; this is a music page! Haha.

And I gotta admit, this album sounds pretty good. The cover of "Sunglasses At Night" is good, but nostalgic at best. The other tunes, though, are pretty solid. Anyone know who this guy is? The only band he's worked with that I recognize is Wicked Sensation, but he was only on an early demo, not their two full-lengths.
Either way, I appreciate someone doing something a little different when marketing themselves. It makes me wonder, though; do a lot of people click on those porno spam messages? I just delete them, usually. I wonder if this dude is onto something? Haha.
