New Retroactive Records releases coming soon...

Hi Everyone!

The new releases will be available before Christmas....some should be
available now, but manufacturing plant issues have prevented this.

The Deliverance artwork has been redone and none of the original artwork has been used. It is a very elaborate layout.....

Where are the covers of the new releases? LOL...

Why on earth do we need a reissue of the newly recorded Ninety Eighty Seven?

I wonder if that Rosanna's Raiders is both albums? They only released two. I need that.

I worked on that one.
Its both of their albums plus a bunus disc...We Are Raiders (11 tracks).....Plus a bonus song "One Man" taken from a compilation album Called Modification.

I think We Are Raiders is their first recording.

I worked on this one too. I think the first run was short and only by Girder Music. This is an extra run going through Retroactive as well. Other than that, its the same I believe.

Then why not just rre-release it as it was. Why put on extra tracks to lure people like me to re-buy it!

They didn't add any extra tracks. The only thing that changed was a few names and company logos.

If tracks WERE added, then its not reflected in the artwork. It should have the same tracklisting.....I'm pretty sure anyway. I know I didn't change anything about the tracklisting on the back of the traycard or on the insides.

I think the six bonus tracks on the Whitecross are:
10. "Love on the Line" (6:11)
11. "Reanimate" [instrumental] (4:03)
12. "Enough is Enough" [studio outtake] (:58)
13. "No Way I'm Goin' Down" [studio outtake] (1:05)
14. "Love on the Line " [studio outtake] (2:17)
15. "Scott's ramble" [studio outtake] (:16)

These were on the original release. They are considered 'bonus' tracks because they were not on the original Whitecross album from 1987.

Rex, did you do the new Deliverance artwork? It looks great.

Nope. I've not seen it either, but I'm sure that Caleb at Bootcore Graphics did it. He gets more of the original artwork jobs and I get the reissue stuff usually.

Can you post the cover? I've not seen it anywhere.

Yup, that is definately Caleb's artwork. Very nice indeed, he does really good work.

I like the original artwork better for "D", cool artwork, but it doesn't fit the music, looks like something for an epic power metal band.

I'm going to have to get a copy of Rosanna's Raiders.

I want that Oracle album!!!

I might pick up Rosanna's Raiders too. Their song "We are Raiders" on the Headbangin' 101 album sounds pretty good. Very melodic pop metal, but with some serious 80's drum kick, and female vocals to boot. Right up my alley!

I'm interested in the Armageddon reissue. I'm really looking forward to the Oracle disc, which will hopefully be released early in 2008.

Probably I should too. Got "Clothed i fire" on tape and the song "He is the King" always gives me a strong emotional moment. Love the melody, the riff, the piano and the lyrics on that one!

I inquired of Matt Hunt from Retroactive about the track listing for the new Deliverance. Here is what he had to say:

All the regular tracks album tracks, plus...a prev. unreleased track (from the river disturbance sessions), 'on the fritz' from the steve taylor trib, a hyper industrial remix of belltown, and a 12 min track of jimmy brown's thoughts and memories about this album. Sort of a behind the music thing. He did it for the reissue.
