Kamelot-Karma

I know that there are Kamelot fans here and I want to see what people think of this album. Karma was my first intoduction to these guys and the moment Forever hit my car speakers, I knew this was going to be one of my favortie bands. I've since gotten every album from Fourth Legacy to now, but Karma remains my favorite. I know most think that Black Halo is their best but something about Karma just grabs me more. Favorite tracks are Forever (of course), Karma, The Spell, Wings Of Despair, Light I Shine On You, and Elizabeth I: Mirror, Mirror (also the intro, Regalis Apertura).

side note: I will be starting some different new topic through the day because I have been busy the past week and have stored up quite a bit of topics I would like to discuss (I will try to group some togther to save space), I will be back with some more in four hours. Enjoy.

I LOVE Kamelot - and I LOVE "Karma".

When I seen them live a few months back, I was glad to hear some stuff off this album.

It was also my introduction to the band as well, so this album is very special to me. It was actually my favorite (yes, I like it better than The Black Halo too) up until this year when they released "Ghost Opera". GO is my favorite, but "Karma" is my second fave.

Out of the ones I've bought I'd rank them as:

1. Ghost Opera (more and more I'm discovering how underrated this one is)
2. Karma
3. The Black Halo
4. Epica


I like them allll!!!! Kamelot is truly one of my favorite bands.

Have you heard CONCEPTION yet? It's Roy Khan's pre-Kamelot band.



"The Fourth Legacy" was the last Kamelot CD I really could get into.
After that it just seemed to get more and more keyboard driven and less
heavy. I gave "Black Halo" and "Ghost Opera" sitting in an endless box
of CDs to be reviewed.

I've not heard Conception yet, but they are on my list.

As far as the keyboard stuff that they have pursued. I really like stuff like that. I think keys go good in metal, but I realize that many do not.

Yup great band each cd is different form the others in all one of the best bands around!

Yeah Wargod that is one thing I like about them too. Each album is so different from the last one - yet they still 'retain' their power metal integrity. All in all, Kamelot is one of my favorite bands. I hope they are around for many years to come.
