Do you think pot should be legal ?

It's already legal where I live (New Jersey). My town in particular has jumped on the weed bandwagon in a big way. At least five or six "dispensaries" have opened within the city limits in the past year.

Of course some folks in town are freaking out about it ("The children! Won't someone think of the children?"), but I'd rather have tax-paying businesses in those store fronts than a bunch of empty spaces.

I haven't smoked weed since college, and I'm not likely to pick up the habit again anytime soon, so it's pretty much a non-issue for me.

It was just Rescheduled by the FDA and soon enough Big Pharma will be sole proprietor in slinging it out when all the Patents are secured and then subsequently unscheduled by the FDA.

It is legal for "Recreational Use" here in Montana and makes 10's of millions in tax revenue from a consumer base of roughly 2/5 of almost 1.2 Million people residing in the State. Big Money for the State and the Corporations slinging it. The mom and pop dispensaries are already getting pushed aside due to rising regulations and fees. The same thing that has already happened or is presently happening in every State that has passed Legislation to legalize recreational use. (IMHDO) It will become more expensive to grow your own for personal use than to purchase it from a retail establishment via same regulation/fees killing off the small business owners.

It isn't legal in my state (North Carolina). I think it's been brought up before legislation but that's as far as it's got.

I got nothing against pot used for medicinal or responsible recreational use… but driving a car while high can be like a DUI.

Not legal here in Pennsylvania, except the medicinal type, although Pittsburgh and Philadelphia has lightened up the punishment for possession of small amounts-a misdemeanor with fines, etc. Doesn't affect me either way because I'm not a user and have never been.

Marijuana does not come from the ground with the high concentrations of THC found in today's strains, that is something man did by genetically modifying it.

There has/have been NO studies done on long term effect of high THC concentrations to the receptors in the brain. (IMHDO) It will be the new thing that people will go into Treatment for.

My thoughts as well. I am concerned we have opened up a whole new issue with DUI

It's illegal here but I'd say it's widely used by many people. Hashish is the most common illegal drug used in Morocco. I myself am a hash user and I don't see why it shouldn't be legal. Recently Morocco legalized the use of beauty products made from marijuana and I hope that they'll legalize the use of hash next.

I live up here in Canada, so I have seen how it has changed my community since Oct. 17 2018, when the nation legalized canabis. It hasn't. I have not seen non-users start to use, just because it is legal. And those who partake now do not have to worry about any criminal repercussions just for possession and use.  I think all in all, it is positive position to have as a nation. I live in a town of about 8000 and we have two dispensaries, and 8 liquor stores. Booze is still king in my neck of the woods.

Alcohol is still king in my town but the lines for getting marijuana are really long. So long that Taco Bell built store next to the place and does not do any kind of specials lol

Alcohol is legal in Morocco but hashish is more used than alcohol from what I see. They should legalize it already.

Everything in moderation. Alcohol is far worse. Tokers are usually peaceful, but alcohol makes alot of people violent. All depends on the person. Some people can't handle drugs/alcohol and shouldn't be using it.

I gave up smoking weed about a year ago. However, I do think it should be legal. So long as you're doing it in the privacy of your own home, and not driving while intoxicated, go for it.
