I will be watching this. My first Wacken festival .

It's already started. I can see Scott Ian on stage. But that's not Anthrax.

Rage just finished. Sound and setlist was otherwise awesome, (and that set, a cool looking cave) but they inexcusable fucked up and there was no right channel. Or, there was, but it was just the left channel duplicated I think. You could not hear the second guitarist, Stefan Weber, like, at all. A shame.

DORO in ten minutes. I am not familiar with her solo stuff, but I own two Warlock CD's.

Anthrax did a short pre-recorded set that looked like a Youtube collaboration, with members playing in their living rooms.

I watched Body Count for 20 minutes but decided it wasn't for me and tuned out. Why do they start their set with a cover song (Raining Blood)?

Seems like it was the Wacken people who messed up because clearly it was recorded in proper stereo, but the stream did not have both channels.

I caught the Doro set. And some of the sets after hers. But not much of it was anything outstanding.

Yeah, Eskimo Callboy is not my thing either; too much "nu-metal" sound.

But I still love the name.

Rage set was fun. Peavy looks so big. He needs a diet!

The Blind Guardian show has not been uploaded yet. It was pretty great. Fast, heavy, aggressive BAND SONGS only, no symphonic/orchestrated backing tapes or ballads. Just metal. Banished from Sanctuary, Majesty, I'm Alive... excellent stuff. And with a great sound.
