Man that really sucks. I always enjoyed his music.

His songs were like a narrated story. Very similar to what Johnny Cash did.

He also had some gospel inspired southern rock songs.

The only country show I've ever been to was Charlie's. Always enjoyed the Charlie Daniels Band.

I heard that and it sucks.  I was just listening to my Southern Rock comp yesterday while cleaning the house and "Devil Went Down To Georgia" and "Legend Of Wooly Swamp" both came up.  Damn that guy could play the fiddle!  Do you know he had over 100 concerts scheduled this year before Covid?  At age 83?  The man has said he lived to perform for people.

I did notice on his website that he had some concerts that were scheduled this August. He was a dedicated musician and performer. I’m sure he had no plans to ever retire.

Always enjoyed his music, R.I.P. Charlie.
