I have a feeling this is gonna be their best album since Against the Law. The guitars are beefed up louder and the tone is like the early days. I didn’t get the last album, but this one is a sure thing!

God Damn evil was a bit boring to be honest. Kind of rushed.
Hope this one will be better.

That “Take It to the Cross” song is horrible! Michael sounds like a crazy hag. The album title also seemed like a lame attempt to shock the fans. I have since heard samples of the whole thing, and I’m not feeling it.

I bought the album out of love and support for Stryper. After a couple of listens however , it's now sitting peacefully on the shelves.

I liked "God Damn Evil." Even that silly as hell "Take It To The Cross" grew on me after a while.

I just bought a $7.77 "ticket" to the first of the live listening parties they are doing starting this Friday. Apparently it is going to be about 90 minutes. The band will talk about their general perceptions of the album to start, and will then comment on the writing and recording of each track after they are played.
I think it's a pretty cool thing to do, and something that I could see being done regardless of there being a pandemic and a surplus of virtual events. I can think of a number of bands for which I would buy into this kind of event if it was offered.

Interesting! The new Stryper is next on my Amazon order list, along with Heathen .

That song I think is particularly up front with Michael. During the fan listening party today he talked a lot about his favorite parts of other songs being contributions from the other members, whether drum parts or bass lines.

This is easly my favorite Stryper record since To Hell. Stryper always has diverse albums but this is their most diverse imo.
Invitation Only is like no other song they've ever recorded.
