What's a SOTO?
EDIT: ooooooh, Jeff Scott Soto! I thought it's some weird acronym. Significant Other Turd Offering.
I have a few of those Axel Rudi Pell discs.

Man, this guy has been into so many projects. I need to revisit the albums. But this would be one of my favourite Soto works:

Ha ha - oh man - The reason for this post - I bought that PANTHER CD. Been listening to it in my car - all this week. It's pretty good 80's metal. I know Soto's voice has changed with time. But I'm kinda curious about other - Same ole turd offerings ha ha. Malmsteen - having SOTO for a singer - was a major plus for his success. Wonder why they parted ways ?

Yngwie Malmsteen - Marching Out.
His vocals really set the tone on this album.

One of the best Yngwie albums ever released.
My copy was printed in West Germany! Still in mint condition.

I left the Malmsteen albums out for a reason. Everyone knows they’re metal gold.

I would say Panther and Ynqwie stuff for sure and then his work with Kuni, and of course, the Eternal Prisoner disc.

Looking over Mr. Soto's vast career and numerous guest appearances, I see that I have no JSS albums in my collection. He's on a few tribute albums I own. That's about it.
If they ever show up in the mail, I ordered both Sons of Apollo albums, so I'll have 2 in the not-to-distant future.

Bought Human Clay CD. Pretty good. Has that glorious winter Malmsteen vibe about it. In fact, Malmsteen plays a guitar solo on one of the songs !

The album should be available on Amazon. Get it. A must have.

I did order ARP "Eternal Prisoner" not sure if this is the 2 cd's on one. Some of the reviews say it is.
Jeff sounds great on this. I like his metal voice best.
Just my 2 cents

My three favorites are:
1. W.E.T.—Rise Up 2. Jeff Scott Soto—Damage Control 3. Sons of Apollo—MMXX
Also, I love his guest vocals on this song from Ken Tamplin's Wake the Nations album:

ARP's albums are always good. There's always a couple of excellent tracks at least. Enjoy.

Cool! I actually got it in a double CD set with Eternal Prisoner many years ago.
Oh, I forgot to mention an experience I had when I met JSS. It was during TSO Beethoven's Last Night tour in 2010. I hadn't had much experience with his music except those ARP albums so when I heard his voice on Night Castle, it was a 180 from how he usually sings. I told him it's hard to believe when I listen to him with TSO it's the same voice that used to sing for Axel Rudi Pell. He said that was the first time anyone mentioned ARP to him as most people know him from the Yngwie albums. So if I ever get to meet him again, I know he'll remember me .
Thanks Dallas -I don’t have 3 of those 4 on your list. JSS could write a cool book, I bet. I know he dislikes Malmsteen. No surprise there. Malmsteen sounds like another Blackie Lawless.
