If I’m not mistaken, this album could almost be classified as Christian. The lyrics are very pro-God, anti-devil.
Or maybe “white metal” like early Trouble.
That's interesting.
You know, i have been waiting for a reissue, for years.
This one, along with Liege Lord's debut, were the only missing albums before i could consider my collection as "complete".
Now, i have both ordered and on the way .

Are collections ever truly complete? Bands keep putting out new music.

Years ago, i made a huge list of albums (Mainly old material) that i wanted badly in my collection.
Now, the same list is almost totally checked.
As for newer releases, i took a firm decision to only buy the stuff that i happen to enjoy upon checking on internet.
No more piling up music. Those days are long gone.

I agree. Many new bands just don’t do it for me. I know too much of the old school. I know their influences. I did buy ATTIC cd. Very fascinating.

You made the right decision. I am doing the same. Only albums that I sample online first and truly enjoy. No more blind loyalty. Except for the bands that do no wrong like Testament and Flotsam.

Man, there were times where i'd come back from my travels with over 80 new cds, which would end up being archived after half a listen.
At least now i am getting to properly rediscover my collection.
Love the blind loyalty term, which i myself still have for some bands, like UDO, Grave Digger, Riot, Iron Savior, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Accept and Metal Church.

I love this Attic album. There were a couple of Mercyful Fate like bands that I discovered the last few years. Beside Attic I also enjoy Portrait and Them.

I am familiar with Attic. This song is quite good!

Cool heads up Ghost. I looked up THEM and PORTRAIT. Not bad. But ATTIC is really following KD footsteps. As a side note, I remember being super disappointed in Jimmy Page..... An interview in the late 80s.....how Kingdom Come were ripping off ZEP. He had the nerve to down them ! F that guy.

Where did you get your copy from?
May I also ask how much it cost you?

I bought my copy of Masterpeace as a new release from FYE if I recall correctly. I have no idea what I paid for it though.

I remember seeing Masterpeace, as well as Hanging in the balance and their live album (both in one packaging), at FNAC in Paris, many many years ago.
Held all three cds in my hands and put them back on the shelves, because the store was about to close and my parents were waiting for me outside, to go dining.
The next day, i was at the shop ten minutes after it had opened, but all three were gone. Sold out.
Biggest mistake i had made.
Years later, i was able to score the live cd and the Japanese pressing of HITB (with OBI) in Athens, before buying masterpeace a couple of months ago, online.
And now, Wayne's disc is on its way to my mailbox.
The life of a collector...

Wow ! Never knew M.C had so many releases ! I thought about who’s a more influential guitarist - Kurdt - or Accept’s Wolf ? I don’t pay attention to the price of CDs ...unless over 30 bucks. It’s like a concert ticket to me - to enter into - and party to. Great story, Gilbert. I remember a record store guy who laughed at me..... because I returned the following week - to buy something that wasn’t there. I sill pull the trigger kinda quick on buying CDs though. However ...David Wayne’s Metal Church.....it’s pricey.
