The Cat From Outer Space (1978)
An alien feline is stranded on Earth and needs help from Ken Berry, along with Sandy Duncan and MacLean Stephenson, to get his ship back up and running to rendezvous with the Mothership, all the while dodging the U.S. army, led by Harry Morgan, and industrial spy Roddy McDowell. Harmless Disney fare that I had seen in the theater as a kid.

^^Hell yeah, that's a dope jam! I think that was my absolute favorite of the troubled-yet-still-charming block of 70's Disney live action material.

"Big Bad Mama II" (1987)
Angie Dickinson's back as lovable outlaw Wilma McClatchie, machine-gunning her way across 1930s Texas with her two daughters while a big city reporter (Robert Culp) trails behind her. Cheaper looking than the first film, but T&A kingpin director Jim Wynorski makes sure there's still plenty of gun battles, car chases and cleavage. Silly, action packed fun.

Trilogy Of Life - The Making of the "Walking With..." series.
I finished "Walking With Monsters" which is the final entry in the Walking With series. This one was a "prequel" to Walking With Dinosaurs in that it featured animals from before the Jurassic period. There was also a 30 minute "making of" featurette of the process of making all three of the Walking With series which is what I watched today. The process of creating the realistic-looking behavior of the dinos in the series was pretty interesting. Like sending camera crews to remote locations all over the globe to shoot....basically nothing. They shot a lot of landscape scenes and occasionally had to do things like use logs to make splashes in water. Those splashes would later be seen in the series as dinosaur tails hitting the water.

Neon Maniacs (1986)
Strange creatures, the legion of the damned, emerge from a tower within the Golden Gate Bridge and begin wreaking havoc and murdering people. A group of teens attempt to stop them once they learn their weakness: water. So basically, you have people fighting these things with squirt guns. Although the creature designs are pretty cool, this one isn't worth your time.

Ooh yeah, "Neon Maniacs" was one of the most WTF movies I've ever seen. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Yeah that one always frustrates the hell out of me! It makes about zero sense since the origins and motives of the monsters are never even remotely hinted at and as you said the whole water thing just makes for a lot of stupid scenes. But the creatures are really cool IMO; almost like Cenobites from the Hellraiser series. Too bad their characters weren't as well drawn in the script and they really had nothing to do. This could have been a classic with a half-decent script.

Splice(2010)- two scientist create a new life form combining DNA from humans and animals, resulting in a humanoid creature they name Dren. As the creature grows, one of the researchers develops a parental affection for it, while the other sees it as a mistake they must keep hid. Things grow even more complicated from there in this yet another film where bad things happen when humans try to play God. Overall, this is a pretty good film with a mixture of both CGI and old school effects. Plus, the creature is pretty creepy looking too. I give it 3 out of 5.

My Bloody Valentine (1981)
Another fine Canadian slasher import, this one deals with a small town's plan to have a Valentine's Day dance, despite the warnings of a serial killer from 20 years prior. Naturally, people begin getting murdered by the returned killer, complete in his miner's suit. Some interesting murders and slight gore (which I had read was much worse but ultimately cut) makes this a decent watch.

"The Evil that Men Do" (1984)
A professional assassin (Charles Bronson) is lured out of retirement to track down a notorious underworld torture specialist known as "The Doctor," who killed his close friend. This was a pretty standard Bronson butt-kicker, but the south-of-the-border settings give it some international flavor. For Chuck completists only. Fun fact: this was the only movie Bronson made in the '80s that wasn't produced by Cannon Films.

"Kentucky Fried Movie" (1977)
The Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker writing team (later of "Airplane!" fame) and director John "Animal House" Landis produced this gag-a-minute sketch comedy classic that parodies TV news ("I'm not wearing any pants. Film at 11."), commercials, kung-fu flicks ("A Fistful of Yen"), classroom safety films, and more. It's kinda like flipping through a raunchier version of MAD magazine. Fun for everyone's inner 14 year old.

The Uncanny (1977)
An ailurophobic author (Peter Cushing), convinced that cats are trying to overtake man as the dominant species, recounts 3 tales of feline terror. An interesting premise with a good cast, including Ray Milland, Donald Pleasance and John (Dean Wormer) Vernon.

I stand corrected, then. I got that from the "trivia" section of the film's IMDb page, which must not be entirely accurate. (shrugs)

"The Groove Tube" (1974)
A pre-"SNL" Chevy Chase co-wrote (and makes several blink-and-you'll-miss-him appearances in) this sketch-comedy parody of '70s television that riffs on kids' shows, cooking shows, public service announcements, the evening news, and more. A young Richard Belzer also turns up in several roles. "Kentucky Fried Movie" is still the superior '70s sketch-compilation flick in my book -- quite a few of the gags in "Groove" fall flat, but there was still enough silliness to keep me entertained for most of its short run time. I particularly enjoyed the commercials for the network sponsor, "Uranus Corporation" (see clip).

"Clinton Road" (2019)
Another cheap horror movie based on the supposedly-haunted country road in New Jersey. A group of annoying twenty-somethings pay a visit to Clinton Road hoping to find out what happened to their friend who disappeared there a year earlier. You can probably guess how well that works out for them.
This is now the second "Clinton Road" movie I've seen (the other being the godawful "The Lake on Clinton Road") and they've both been terrible. I happen to live in the town where Clinton Road is located (West Milford, NJ) and at least this flick tried to tie some of the local legends into the story (unlike the other movie, which was just standard haunted-house crap) but it's a poorly written and acted, mostly incomprehensible mess.
Ice-T, Eric Roberts, and Vincent "Sopranos" Pastore were apparently given small roles just so there would be some recognizable names on the film poster, because they're only in the first ten minutes.
Hollywood is now 0 for 2 on the Clinton Road saga. Hopefully they won't try for a 3rd.
AVOID.

The Monolith Monsters (1957)
A meteorite crashes In The American southwest and the fragments of it, when exposed to water, begin growing exponentially and turning people in it's vicinity into stone. A fairly decent standard 50s sci fi movie.

I remember seeing that one growing up and being bored to death by it. Probably because with "monsters" in the title I actually expected creatures not towering black, stone obelisks. I don't remember the part about people turning to stone either.
