I took a quick ride to record shop in Providence called Armageddon Shop as I hadn't been there in a few weeks. They specialize in Metal with a little Hardcore and Punk so you never know what you are gonna find there. Today I found.
Riot - Born In America (Blue vinyl) Armored Saint - Symbol of Salvation (Gray marbled vinyl #297/300)

I've ordered from that shop online before and have always wanted to check out a physical store. I visit friends in MA sometimes so I intend to hit up the shop there some day.
My most recent CD bought was:
Megadeth- Rust in Peace (original version)
I remember listening to a friend's CD of this when it first came out. I was still buying tapes, and to me this CD just seemed so much cooler than any cassette at the time. I never did buy it on CD back then, and the only version I've ever owned is the 2004 remix, so I'm glad to add this classic to the collection in its purest form.

Awesome! That's such a great album!
I think you would love Armageddon shop. It's the opposite of every chain shop ever in that it caters exclusively to Metal. There is a ton of Black/Death/ Thrash that doesn't interest me much, but you just never know what you are gonna find there. There is just no way I would ever run across numbered and colored offerings from Agent Steel, Banshee, Manowar, or Testament in an FYE or Newbury Comics.

It's funny. I always wanted to get into vinyl, but until I found a place that I could consistently score stuff at good prices, I always dipped a toe instead of just jumping in. I found that most of my buying had become online purchases cuz I just kept striking out at the chain places. It's not a good sign for them when there is better selection (and pricing) at my local Walmart!

I got into the "Climax" album last summer as the youtube algorithm gave me them based on listening to Mad Max. I grabbed all three brand new from the bay for around $25 shipped. Great band.

A few more cheapies from the local video game/toys/movies junk shop:
Two (aka "2wo") - Voyeurs
Faith No More - Introduce Yourself
Arcade - A/3: Live and Unreleased
Plus, a "Stryper Fan Club" patch!

Megadeth's Peace Sells (orig. version).
Now I should just go ahead and pick up the orig. version of Symphony, so I will have nice orig. versions of everything up to that point, and what I feel is most essential, though there are a few other albums I do like quite a bit.

Nice haul! Let me know if that Arcade is any good. It's been on my want list for years and has dropped considerably in price; but I still balk every time I see it for $15-20 cuz there is always something else I pick up first.
