Cd finally arrived last Friday. Much earlier than expected.

I agree! One of their best for sure. The best since Soundchaser, maybe. Killer stuff. The first three tracks are all excellent, then Tomorrow I don't like too much, and then it's back to amazing music again, including the title track which is great.

I even "get" the re-recording of Higher than the Sky, though it obviously should have been a bonus track (but who cares?!). It's different from the original, the band is alive and kicking ass. Great riffs, melodies. Peavy can't sing anymore, but it's not important. Very heavy stuff. I could play this repeatedly. And I am, hah!

Lari, the remake of Higher Than The Sky is amazing! It's heavy as hell. One of the best Rage albums in years.

Marcos Rodriguez is out of Rage.

There was a video this week where the two remaining members Peavy and Lucky jammed with (former?) Axxis guitarist Sturmer Weber.

I think this new one ended up being my favourite CD of the "Marcos era"/"Marcos Trilogy" of the band.

Though I'm going to have to play the other two again to see if they can match this. I remember them being pretty consistent. And this whole chapter of Rage has been very heavy and aggressive.

Lucky remains the drummer. New guitarists are Stefan Weber (ex-Axxis) and Jean Bormann (Rage & Ruins).



And they already re-recorded an old Black in Mind tune "the Price of War" and also shot a video for it:



They got down to business quickly!

Soon enough they will be releasing a new album .

Yeah. Marcos only just left and now they already interviewed and hired two new guitarists, made am announcement, did a photo shoot, recorded a track in the studio and shot a a video for it!

I expect a new CD, a live album and a DVD by the end of next week, if this is the pace they work at.

Good thing is that they usually always deliver. Seriously, their latest release is awesome and one of 2020's highlights.

Man, Rage have such an extensive discography.
