| I was looking through the forums for something about a band I rather like (Demon Hunter) and I came up blank? It may be it's not deemed metal enough, and that's cool, but I even check through It's Only Rock 'n Roll.... (Which is where I'm posting). So my question to you people is, is Demon Hunter like unknown to ya'll, or on some kind of banned list? Or is it unimportant? Whatever's the case, I'm wondering what ya'll think. edit: I mean no disrespect on this issue, just wondering. edit 2: fixed the spelling

| I like them O.K....I have Summer Of Darkness and Triptych and if you take the 10 best songs off both it would be one good album. | |

| Well I'm not trying to be mean or rude or anything, I know people's taste's vary, and that this is a very metalheaded board, (more power to it). I just like getting varying viewpoints. And I just wanted to know what people think. (I would have put it in the hurting words thread, but I thought that was a purely metal board, so I sent it here.). | |

Yea, good old Tryptych Special Edition CD/DVD. Good live show, just wish they had more solos. But that doesn't seem to be a demon huntery kind of thing.

| Not rock! =) They're like a nu-metal hardcore band. Nothing amazing at all. And, bro, I have to do this, as you've made this mistake far too many times and the Grammar Nazi has awoken. Please don't take offense, but it's not threw unless you're throwing something. Otherwise it's through. Grammar Nazi out. |

The Hurting Words forum is mainly for reviews and such, not general music discussion, unless it's discussing a review or whatever. At least that's how I've come to think of the forum. |

| OF what I have heard by them they are ok...mediocre at best....to me they sound of the old cookie cutter Christian bands of old.
..the old "Hey X band is really huge in the secular scene...let's put together a Y band that sounds just like them but with Godly lyrics for our Christian kids"
Like RACKETS AND DRAPES were to MARILYN MANSON....

| I think their pretty good. I like most of their songs and i don't care if they're a cookie cutter band either since almost all bands derive from a band before them. They have that shout/sing thing going on but at least they have a singer that doesn't sound like the others of their kind. | |

blech! Yes, I'm sure all these bands got together in their garage and said, "hey I know, lets start a band and completely copy and be like Marilyn Manson or Metallica".
