Musicians you didnt know were related

I just found out a few years ago that Ken Tamplin and Sammy Hagar were cousins. Any other previously unknown to you relations in the music business?

Ringo Starr and Joe Walsh are brother in laws. They married sisters.

Bill Wyman is his own grampa.

Phil Demmel from Vio-lence and Machine Head and the drummer for Tesla are cousins.

David 'Rock' Feinstein from The Rods is Ronnie Dio's cousin. (although I'm guessing that you guys DO know that)

Rob Zombie and Spider from Powerman 5000 are brothers. I always assumed they didn't like each other much, but I guess they just chose to not try to rely on each other to be successful, which is why they've rarely worked together.

A lot of people wouldn't know this here, since I'm one of the only people here into death metal, but Defeated Sanity's original lineup was a father and his son.

Lille Gruber founded Defeated Sanity in 1993 with his father, Wolfgang Teske.

They released some demos, but never got to the full length stage until the early 2000s. Wolfgang Teske left the band in between the second full length album, Psalms of the Moribund, and the third album, Chapters of Repugnance. He died of cancer in 2010, shortly after the release of Chapters of Repugnance.

I'm pretty sure they're the only occurrence of a father and son being in the same band in the death metal genre.

Have you heard the Tyler Bryant albums? The select songs I've heard through YouTube sound pretty promising but I yet to get anything.

I only have Tyler Bryant's My Radio EP, plus the From The Sandcastle EP and Wild Child from him and The Shakedown. Not everything, but it's excellent stuff, yeah.

Not sure if this qualifies, but I learned recently that Andrew Lincoln of "The Walking Dead" fame is Ian (Jethro Tull) Anderson's son-in-law!

Frank Bello and Charlie Benante of Anthrax are related. Frank is Charlie's nephew.

Axl Rose and Ted Nugent are in a loving, dedicated domestic relationship. Does that count?

I have been watching Tyler Bryant on youtube, They are a very good band, Need to look into a bit more.

Looks as if they have been around for a few years. They looked like a bunch of kids on earlier videos. Maybe they were.

Testament vocalist Chuck Billy and Deftones guitarist Stephen Carpenter are cousins.

Dickie Betts is Frankie Hannon's (Tesla) father in law

Pop singer Sabrina Carpenter is actually the niece of Nancy Cartwright, the voice actress of Bart on The Simpsons. I know Cartwright isn't a musician, but her niece has become a pop star.
