I would love to see Grip Inc. reform with him on vocals. He'd be a great replacement for Gus.

Great band. Great guys too. I got to hang out with them twice and they were very courteous and friendly.

I'm diggin' that tune! Onslaught is always a good listen. I was actually spinning VI on the way to work today.

That's actually not a bad idea. I wouldn't mind hearing that. Sy would sound pretty sick doing vocals on tunes like Ostracized and Rusty Nail

Their last album is simply excellent. . Highly recommended.
I haven't picked up their debut though. Is it worth it?

I'd say it's my favourite Onslaught album but it's raw as hell and a bit punky so if that's not your thing then skip it.

I usually tend to avoid thrash metal bands' debut albums, mainly because of the punkish raw sound. If i see it for a good price i will still pick it up though.

Apparently they were a hardcore punk band before crossing over. You can really hear it in the debut, and it's dark as fuck. Think Hell Awaits, but messier. I prefer The Force but Power from Hell is punishing brutality.

It would be badass, man. Just listen to this...
Almost a deadringer for Gus for most of that song!

Well , I only know (for now) their first 3 albums from the 80´s . The first one is VERY bad , I hate it , because of the "Dischage/Crust" Overtones to it . Second one sounds much better (The Force) and the third one sounds great , even tho completely different from their first two , sounding like a mixture between 80´s Metallica and Anthrax and some Paradox (Power/Thrash , really) . I know they released some good albums since 2007 , but I still need to chek them out .
