Nightwish vs Impellitteri

Completely random Sunday poll. Two good bands. Two extensive discographies. They don't sound anything alike, but I like them both. But I don't know which one I like more.

Impellitteri by a mile. I never could get into Nightwish.

Fun poll. Impellitteri by far. I only have a best of Nightwish. Haven't played it in years.

Nightwish derailed years ago.

You're better off because then you aren't aware of how far they've fallen.   How far is that?  Well let's put it this way, I own exactly ONE Impellitteri album while I own half a dozen Nightwish albums but I voted for Impellitteri simply because I absolutely can't stand what Nightwish has become.

Never liked either band so I picked Sundays are for sleeping.

Here's a song from when I liked Nightwish.  Ironically, the album shown is when I think they started turning to crap.

I went with Impellitteri. But, tbh, I don't know anything about Nightwish. I give you credit for thinking outside of the norm, Lari.

Don't particularly care for either one (shrugs)...

I'm just not a big fan of either. They're great at what they do, and a couple tracks throughout the years have caught my ears strongly, but for the most part their music just kind of exists and...yeah, that's about it.

Yeah, I used to love Nightwish, but haven't listened to or followed them in over a decade for the same reason.

As for Impelliterri, I don't mind what I've heard from them but nothing has ever prompted me to explore their catalogue.

I got the japanese edition of this cd with the OBI for an acceptable 17 euros a few months ago. Lucky find!

Speaking of Impellitteri, i am spinning Pedal to the Metal for the first time right now. I am loving it .
