What SPORTS Did You Watch Today? - 2019

I'm a Rams fan by default today!

I'm boycotting the Superbowl. 

I DID watch Puppy Bowl 15 though.  And as usual teared up at the end when they showed all the puppies in their new forever homes, even the blind and deaf one that was in this year's show.

A local bar here has installed Stan Kroenke's face in all it's urinals and also put his face on all its dartboards.

I bet this is the lowest rated Superbowl in St. Louis television history; I haven't found a single person who plans to watch this debacle.  May both teams destroy each other.

EDIT:  Haven't watched a single second of this fiasco so far.  I keep flipping around looking for something else to watch.  I'll find something, ANYTHING is better than this "game".  I want to see if I can actually avoid the SB entirely; it's not easy though.

So far, this has been the most boring Super Bowl I have ever seen.

And Maroon 5 is the performing act for the Halftime Show. Ugh!

If you're a fan of defensive football, then this Super Bowl is for you.

This is the best super bowl eve!!! I won a hundred buck in the second quarter. The Rams need to score ten points, and shut down the cheaters, and I can win the rest of the pool money, and the cheaters lose.

And even though I am watching it, once halftime starts, the channel is changed to a Simpson's rerun.

I'm loving it so far!! In this age of offensive explosion in all sports (Seen NBA and NHL scores lately?) I long for defensive battles. So far, so great!

Wow, so I'm really missing nothing while I'm watching The Simpsons reruns on Fox. 

I HATE defensive football games, especially between two teams I'd like to banish from the planet.

Cracks me up; I can't wait to see what the TV ratings for the SB are here; I think they're going to be dismal.

It's late in the 3rd quarter and Goff has 48 yards passing. Brady has about 180 with an int.

Makes me mad, I was little over two minutes away from winning two quarters, for $200.00 dollars. They had to make that 53 yard FG to tie it up at the end there, just to rob me of my money lol Oh well, I'm still in the win column.

And America goes to bed pissed off. I would have loved to have seen the Saints in this game but the refs saw to that.

So the Rams lost? 

I honestly didn't watch a single second of the Superbowl.

Yuck...Pats again. At least it wasn't a silly video game offense like last year. I like offense and defense, but with the NFL setting league scoring records this year, it was kind of cool to end on a "D" battle.

I'm just glad it was a sucky game.  I can't wait to find out what the local STL ratings were.

This is the first time I didn't watch a single second of the Superbowl.

Oh well, was hoping for a miracle TD at the end to give me the score I needed to win my $200.00 dollars, but I'm happy with the hundred. One guy did end up winning a total of $300.00 though, just wish it were me! Other than that, the game sucked. Football is not my thing any more. Well I should say the NFL is not my thing any more. Screw 'em!

Good question...but I'd say it's two good offenses (based on the season) forced to look bad by good "D".

Well, I hope I never have to repeat that experience rooting for the Rams. The most disappointing end to the season I could have imagined, to be sure... Since I'll probably be moving to Asia next year, where it's not easy to watch the games in real time given the time chance, I think I'll take a break from the NFL and wait for this "dynasty" to die off.

Where is this bar? (Please be warned that if you tell me, the bar will have a sudden influx of Londoners lining up to piss on and throw darts at the wig wearing asshole!)

Kroenke also owns Arsenal fc (my team) and we despise him with all of our hearts. 10 years of misery since he bought the club, he's made hundreds of millions and invested nothing!!

I'm glad his team lost.

Somewhere in St. Louis. The city is still pissed at him for packing up the Rams and moving them back to Los Angeles after 20 years here.
