Nah, it's just gonna take "Jered" and his wife all that time to burn all of those CDs on their home computer.
"Hurry up, honey, we just got 10,000 more orders from Sri Lanka! Better make another pot of coffee, it's gonna be a long night!"
At least he never claimed he was "big in Japan" Haha.

You know what the biggest shame about this whole thing is? This dude is really talented. The production on the album is weak as hell, and that makes the poppy moments—which are many—seem even more poppy because the album lacks "balls."
But the guy knows how to write a good song, and his leads are fantastic. He doesn't just mindlessly shred, you know; they have soul. Lots of great riffs on the album, too.
The whole thing is so bizarre, but the guy is extremely talented. It's just overshadowed by an insane level of narcissism. He makes Ted Nugent look humble. Haha.
Then again, maybe it all worked out as intended because apparently he's embarking on yet another European tour, this time legit, and he'll be playing some of the same places he played before. Might just be a trap, though, and the first night all the booking agents are going to kick his ass. We'll see.
Anyway...
In the hands of another band or better producer, this song would kick all kinds of ass.

The story is to bands as 2017's Fyre Festival is to music festivals.

This is all news to me. Reading this entire thread had me scratching my head down to the skull. What the hell did this guy expect to happen? Not really thinking in the long term.
I agree that he had potential and could've gone a legit route to proper recognition. I mean, the dude can really shred on guitar, even in such a weakly produced song. Really shot himself in the foot. AND his bandmates.

Well, RF mentioned the Fyre Festival, and maybe it's one of those cases where you get to a certain point that it's too late to back out/ stop/ shut down, whatever and you just try to see it through. Maybe? Or, he's just a complete nut job?

Threatin update!
Jered's hired gun backup musicians took him to court to recoup the out-of-pocket $$ they spent in Europe during that shitshow "tour"... and they won.
Jered, perhaps unsurprisingly, did not show up for court and has ignored the judgments thus far, so those guys will probably never see a nickel from him.
Sounds like Jered's next move should be to fake his own death and disappear before they track him down and break his legs...

Wouldn't this get him an auto-arrest-warrant? This dude acts like we live in a world without consequences! Bonkers.

Threatin Guy has resurfaced with a new backing band and is threatening (pun not intended, I swear) a new European tour, playing some of the same venues he was booked into last year. TL, DR version: this guy is nuttier than squirrel poop.
