That's not even close; High N Dry by light years. Pyromania was the beginning of the end of Def Leppard as far as I'm concerned. It's an OK album but after that they started with all the pop sugar-coated (pun intended) crap and it just fell off the cliff for me.

But High N Dry is one of my "desert island" albums.

I roadied for them during the Pyromania tour. Long story.
Europe was the opener.
Me ( guitarist ) and my singer did it….on a record label’s suggestion.
Steve Clarke was still alive….white as a ghost….loner….
The drummer was coming back from his arm amputation.
I almost dropped a ramp on his foot - lost my grip. Drummer laughed.
Had no idea he was beside me. I was mortified and in total shock.
“ That’s all I need right now, mate “. Great guy !

And not only that… he had to relearn to play drums (his special electronic setup) all the way up to the Hysteria album. Forget all the healing and physical therapy!
