How is Meliah Rage - Idol Hands?

I was listening to their album Warrior over the weekend and was browsing Metal Archives, seeing they put out a new release.

Has anyone here heard it yet? If so, is it any good?

I haven't heard Warrior so I can't compare it to that, but I only liked a couple of tracks. The opener, "The Kill-All Rule" is my favorite, but I couldn't find it on youtube.

A lot of the songs seemed to plod along without leading to anything that held my interest. Like this one, which I guess they are using to promote the album:

I have - on my eBay favorites - some cds by them - just hesitant -
I remember when they were signed.
Everyone was talking about it - in band practice rooms - clubs - etc
At the time - Boston bands were getting heavy -
and they seemed like the first deal -
to give other similar bands - this tremendous jolt -
That's how fast the scene emerged - and then left - like a fast moving freight train.

Just ordered the album.

Will order my copy soon.

Yes I heard it and its seriously terrible. I used to love this band way way back, but they have hit the bottom of the toilet bowl waiting to be flushed!

Dead to the world has been reissued. I ordered a copy today.

Finally got to purchase Idol Hands. Received it in the mail earlier this week and gave it a first spin today. Some solid tracks. But it needs more listens.

So RF, what's your opinion on this album?

It was decent, from what I remember of it. I haven't spun it in a long time, however.
