I just saw a post on Blabbermouth mentioning that these guys are recording their third album right now. I only own their second album,
Forbidden Path, but it's a killer. I found it a few years ago in a used bin. I knew it was a metal CD, but not what kind. It was cheap, so I grabbed it.
I found this CD about the same time I got into Brainstorm, and the first thing I remember thinking was how similar the two bands were. Musically they were very similar, but vocalist Dirk Stuhmer sounds like a mix between Andy B. Franck and Marcus Jurgens, current and former Brainstorm vocalist, respectively. Stuhmer has his own voice, too, but I think he strongly resembles Franck and Jurgens as well.
I've been looking for Eternal Reign's debut,
Crimes Of Passion, since I discovered the band. It seems to be a hard album to come by. If anyone ever sees a copy, please let me know. I'm also interested in the EP from their previous incarnation when they were called Perfect Crime. The EP is called
Crimetime. Again, hard to come by. They put out a demo, too, but I don't hold my breath for that one.
Anyway, I highly recommend you guys check them out, especially if you dig Brainstorm's brand of power metal.
