Yeah it definitely is. One of the MLB Networks shows kept bumping to commercial break with "Highway Tune" yesterday which is the only song I was really familiar with so I decided to check out some of their other tracks. The whole thing sounds EXACTLY like Zeppelin but it covers a lot of facets of LZ. Greta Van Fleet do the acoustic stuff just as well as the hard rock stuff. But that band name has to go. How about "Graphite Balloon"?

Yea, whereas bands like Kingdom Come just mimicked the "epic" era of later Zeppelin, Greta chose to listen to Led Zeppelin III on repeat and just copy that format. I like it, but I'm curious to see where they go with it on future releases. The name's not great, but I've heard worse.

Stopped by Half Price Books today, and once again somebody had sold off his death metal collection. I saw enough death and grind bands to fill MC666's playlists for over a month. Personally, I have enough extreme metal to last me for quite some time, however, I found some other stuff:

It's pretty good. It's more on the Accept end of their sound rather than the AC/DC end.

I finally stopped in at a little independent shop that I hadn't been to since the early to mid '90's. It's small and still owned by the same woman since 1989, but there was a ton of hidden gems I have to go back for when it's not my daughter's birthday weekend and we are hosting a big party. Lol. I had been meaning to stop in there for the last year or so, but never seemed to have the time. Glad I did.
