| It's amazing how he was able to keep his composure when interviewing guys who were coked out of their minds | |

Great post DB! Glad you liked it! I may have gotten into WWF during the time his classic run started to unwind (1990/1991-about 4 years later he would leave with Hogan to WCW) but I would rent every WWF (and sometimes WCW/NWA) video our local Blockbuster had everytime my family would go there. Almost every interview was conducted by good old Mean Gene. For me he was just as synonymous with WWF as Hogan (except I actually liked Mean Gene ).

| Watching the video tribute to Mean Gene on Smackdown.
WWE is soooo great at these things. It's especially sad to see how many wrestlers he outlived. Mean Gene will be missed but at least the guy lived into his 70s. To see him interviewing people like Randy Savage, Curt Hennig and Ultimate Warrior just drives home the point how many wrestlers die young.
It still was a great video tribute as usual by the WWE production people.
RIP Mean Gene. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Cody Rhodes and some other wrestlers have gotten backing from a billionaire and are starting their own organization. The backer is looking into getting them a TV deal. It will be called All Elite Wrestling and there are rumors of Goldberg and other big names signing with the organization. Check out what big name has officially signed:

Safe to say that the Ayatollah Of Rock N' Rolla will not be back with WWE any time soon.

| Interesting.
Hell, somebody has to provide a viable alternative to the crap Vince's company churns out every week. I totally get the feeling that WWE Creative isn't even trying simply because they know they don't have to. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Watching RAW.
Good grief, a fatal four-way to determine who faces Lesnar at the Rumble. Like we haven't seen this same thing play out a million times before. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Well WWE needs to come up with a more inventive way of resolving situations like this. "Fatal" whatevers have been used to death. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything that hasn't already been done but then again nothing in my job title includes the word "creative" so how about "Creative" start living up to their name. ------- https://heartofmetal.niceboard.com/viewtopic.forum?t=25333 _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
