| Havent watched in a long time but still keep up with the news on 411mania. Yeah, Brock as champ again. Apparently they were gonna go with Braun but he has some serious backstage heat right now. Plus they say UFC has a fight around the time of the Rumble and WM and neither want Brock to get hurt. Part of his new deal allows him to fight in UFC.
Not sure about Carmella but I did read Ellsworth is at Impact. Not sure if it was a one shot deal or if he is there all the time but he continues in his jobber role.

The moment Corbin hit Stroman with the belt, I said, "You've got to be f*cking kidding me!!!!!!" I thought it was the stupidest booking decision they've made in some time... then Shane won the World Cup. It was a complete cluster f*ck of a PPV. If it was because they wanted to make the controversial event as ridiculous as can be to hopefully get out of the deal, that would have been acceptable. However, it was because Stroman has backstage heat (for BS reasons, not because of his attitude or his behavior but because he broke some unwritten rule about not leaving early or some other kind of nonsense) and because they are going to turn Shane heel (just what we needed, another McMahon authority figure). The booking of WWE these days is so damn horrible. Whether it's 50/50 booking, constant re-matches, or dropping the ball on characters who are over or pushing characters that aren't. I should quit like many of you have, but despite all the garbage booking WWE does have some of the best wrestling talent it's ever had and I do enjoy most of the matches even if the finishes leave me cold.

| I just found out I now get Ring Of Honor (albeit at 11:30 PM on Saturdays on our ABC affiliate). I'll need to start programming the DVR. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| If you have WGN America there's also Ring Warriors on Saturday Mornings. Nothing special, but it is nice to have another wrestling show. | |

| Anyone see what happened to Becky Lynch, I got a whole new appreciation for her, the pic where she stands triumphant but blood stained and she captioned it on twitter with "Irish War Paint" freakin awesome!!!!!
but Survivor Series has me at conundrum its Sting vs HHH all over again but its Charolette and Ronda Rousey
who to route for? hmmmmm

| Any one else notice that most call ups from NXT have been ruined. Almost seems like if you come to the main roster from NXT, your wrestling career is on it's death bed. Just look at the list of NXT alumni who were a big deal down there that have been castrated or almost buried or are even gone:
Nakamura (his reign as US champ has gone nowhere and hasn't won any of his feuds) Auska (longest reign undefeated ended and nothing has been done with her since) The Ascension (was made a joke right after coming up) The Revival (they've done almost nothing with them) American Alpha (split up not long after their debut) Bobby Roode (top heel in NXT-goofy babyface on main roster) Rusev (everytime it looks like he's close to the top, they shoot him back down) Bray Wyatt (his mishandling has been well documented on this thread) SAnitY (lost their second match on Smackdown! and have done nothing since) Bayley (kid friendly wrestler in NXT, overgrown kid on main roster) Samoa Joe (he's fared better than most on this list but hasn't won any of his major feuds) Neville (gone)
I'm sure I'm missing some but those are the major ones.
There are several ex-NXT guys and gals that have become successful, but they were in NXT when the pool of great talent wasn't anywhere near as deep (i.e. The Shield were in NXT shortly after it was integrated into FCW). In the past several years there is almost no NXT call up that has had any measurable amount of success.
So far they've done good with Drew McIntyre but he is/might be a rare exception.

| I actually totally forgot about Bray Wyatt. Since baseball season ended I've been watching Raw and Smackdown regularly and I haven't seen him once. Is he hurt? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

No, but with Matt Hardy hanging up his boots, they don't have anything for him right now. They are planning on re-packaging him when he does return.

| To back up my putting Joe in my list of NXT stars being ruined, Samoa Joe is the very first person eliminated in the Raw vs. Smackdown! match and only in the first few minutes. | |

| Charlotte has turned heel by beating the holy hell out of Rousey with two kendo sticks (until the broke to pieces) and a chair.
However, it sound like to my ears, that just like with Becky Lynch, it got her loud cheers instead of boos.
Yep, Rousey is getting booed out of the building as she's walking away battered and bruised.

| Sorry, I've been totally out of the WWE loop. I mean, I've had it on the past several Mondays and Tuesdays since baseball season ended but I haven't really been paying any attention to it whatsoever. Other than the whole surprising "Roman Reigns has leukemia" thing I can't remember a thing about WWE in the last several weeks. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Piss poor PPV for the most part. Enzo was in attendance and once security saw who he was they escorted him out. | |

Yeah, it was a clusterf*ck. Considering all the last minute changes, it should have been expected. I don't have a link, but there is an article out there that explains that Vince doesn't care if the crowd doesn't leave an event happy. That explains a lot.

And is Shane turning heel? Miz is introducing him? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Smackdown remains a helluva lot more interesting than RAW. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| As usual since baseball season ended, I'm watching RAW.
The opening bit was predictable but pretty funny IMO. I liked Elias' "song". It basically just repeated "Lashley sucks" over and over. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Tax had a great idea for Bryan’s heel turn. He said he should have brought a screwdriver to the ring during his promo and taken the Yes plates off since he said the Yes Movement is dead.
So glad Beaus is out. I’m really sick of his gimmick and how he always speaks like Cookie Monster. Especially after the way he acted on SS I am really sick of him. It’s of course not his fault.

Puh-leeeze...unless "creative" suddenly decides to live up to their name, we all know how this one will end. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
